• Service Yard Management: Efficiently manage operations at one of St Pancras International's busiest service yards, safely guiding reversing vehicles of all sizes from a congested one-way road with a proactive cycle lane, utilising banksman qualification and experience.
• Delivery processing: Oversee delivery processing by logging vehicle registrations and delivery destinations, ensuring correct deliveries enter the loading bay and are securely stored for retailer collection. Supervise a 2-man team responsible for correctly packing deliveries into cages and safely storing them in the designated goods facility for retailer or relevant personnel pick up.
• Vigilant Security Monitoring: Conduct hourly security patrol using the HOT (Hidden, Obvious, Typical) and WHAT (What are they doing, How are they behaving, Alone/Acting with others, Threat type) protocols, reporting findings via radio to maintain a secure environment.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce a strict "no hi-vis, no entry" policy for all relevant personnel gaining access to the service yard, and ensure the service yard is prepared for weekly health and safety inspections to uphold safety standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Attend shift briefings for updates and instructions, promptly reporting faults or issues through necessary channels such as desk phone, email, or radio.
