I am a responsible and experienced warehouse supervisor. I have worked as part of a team of 8 within the distribution department. I have covered 2 roles in my time here, starting as a warehouseman later gaining a promotion to warehouse supervisor.

I have to cover my managers role during there absence. I oversee the assembly and placement of stock items, stock deliveries and reporting to the warehouse manager. I am a good team player and have good time keeping, communication and interpersonal skills.

My responsibilities include

• Operating the forklift truck to manoeuvre pallets and rubbish to designated areas within the warehouse.
• Delegating warehouse duties and encouraging staff development and motivation.
• Consistently meeting and exceeding all stock and warehouse targets by working safely and efficiently.
• Ensuring ongoing adherence and compliance to strict health and safety policies at all times.
• Keeping up to date with all mandatory training and being aware of any changes in policy, procedure and legislation relating to my role.
• Running of the shift, to ensure a smooth, calm and relaxed environment.
• Communicating any concerns or information to the shift manager.
• Working collaboratively with the shift manager to manage the shift and resources available.
• Taking direction from management and requesting feedback on my own performance.
• Unloading and loading the trailers with food on the PPT.
• Operating the high reach vehicle to get goods out the racking.
