My last position lasted 29 years until the company closed.I was a sales merchandiser for a tile distribution company.
My duties included visiting new and existing customers to tile or update their displays.
Do daily checks on the company vehicle and reporting any faults.
Delivery of customer orders around the south East of England and further afield when required.
Filing reports of work done to keep databases up to date and dealing with all delivery paperwork.
Liaison with all customers to keep up a good working relationship.
I have driven vans and 7.5 ton vehicles for many years and have experience of planning runs and safe loading of them..Including the use of a counterbalance fork lift truck.
The safe manual handling of heavy and fragile loads .
