General manager - Malvern Tyres - 1 Lyndon Road, Stechford, Birmingham, B33 8BX

I started this job as tyre fitter and gained knowledge and experience fast. I started by fitting tyres, balancing, brakes and tracking (wheel alignment) on a regular basis alongside delivering and collecting tyres at various locations across the UK. (I had done prior mechanics for a year when I left school). However, within a year at Malvern Tyres I became assistant manager; and from August 2024- general manager.

I was trained using CAMS software to check and maintain tyre stock as well as ordering tyre stock via the system and by phone. In addition, I was responsible for the general stock take, dealing with customers on numerous levels, tyre fitting staff, and ongoing mechanical duties alongside taking invoices for stock and taking customer payments. I have also obtained a braking certificate during this job.

I was further responsible and expected to achieve GP targets daily.

General landscaper - Self-employed- Landscape services, Birmingham - Birmingham

I was self-employed at this time and had set up my own business in landscaping. I would complete garden projects designed by customers, footings for extensions, tarmacked driveways, used diggers and jet washing services including general construction work.

I worked for TNT through a sub-contractor called Rapid Vehicle Solutions. When starting this job, I worked on bank runs delivering internal mail to Lloyds & TSB banks across Birmingham. Later I became Bank supervisor where I was responsible for all drivers, their shift patterns and routes for around one year. For the latter part of this employment, I moved to 7.5-ton multidrop delivery driver across the West Midlands.
