Worked from the age of 16, started at Boots Chemist in Goods Inwards and other general duties, shelf-filling and customer care. From there went into Civil Engineering on Dudley and Sandwell Road Maintenance Contract plus more. Progressed to learn advanced utilities on Gas, Water, and Electric contracts, passing numerous City of Guilds on Gas, Water and Supervision Certificates.
Managed ground work machinery, mini diggers, forklift trackair and earthmoving. Eventually became a Senior Agent managing electric contracts for Belfour Beaty with 20 4-man teams, drivers and traffic management. Last nine years worked in factory as General Operative progressing to Shift Manager on 12 hour shifts.
Left position to pursue better work-life balance and family time, seeking full time or part-time work.

Worked in factory as General Operative on day shift, asked to help on night shift for a few months which ended up as five years on 12 hour shift Mon-Fri 6.00 p.m. until 6.00 a.m. Progressed to Shift Manager. Bespoke cardboard manufacturer. Left due to lack of family life and work-life balance.
