I am an English Literature student at the University of Northampton, set to graduate in 2026. Throughout my studies, I have developed strong analytical and communication skills, alongside a deep appreciation for literature. While my academic focus has been on literary analysis, I am eager to gain work experience and am particularly interested in retail roles where I can apply my attention to detail, customer service skills, and enthusiasm for engaging with people.
Although I am early in my career journey, I am committed to bringing a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn to any role I undertake.
With practical experience gained through previous roles as a General Assistant at Hobbycraft and a Sales Assistant at Boots. These positions allowed me to develop strong customer service skills, including assisting customers with queries, managing stock, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. I have honed my ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments, handling tasks such as cash handling, inventory management, and maintaining store displays.
I am now seeking to apply these skills in a new retail role where I can continue to learn and contribute effectively.
As previously stated, I am currently studying English Literature at the University of Northampton. My coursework has focused on literary analysis, critical thinking, and effective communication, allowing me to engage deeply with a wide range of texts and develop strong analytical skills.
