I am HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist with 24 years experience working in NHS micro lab. Currently working as a senior lab analyst in a medical technology company involving configuration and development of a LIMS. I am a motivated individual who works well as part of a team but can also work on my own initiative.
I have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills. I have leadership/management experience and enjoy a challenge. I have trouble shooting experience and have also been involved in staff training and student mentorship.
24 years as a biomedical scientist in NHS microbiology lab in SHSCT, from 1999 - 2024. I was team leader with management responsibilities for 8 years. My current role is Senior Lab Analyst (October 2024 - present) in a medical technology company. I am involved with configuration and delivery of LIMS, to clients. I have excellent communication skills and meet with clients via MS teams on a regular basis to discover their requirements and deliver a result.
