My professional experience is summarised on the following bullet points:
Developing teaching methods that resulted in increased student engagement, improving year-on-year exam success, considering whole school strategy policy.
Having completed my academical studies, a BA degree and a master's degree in Special Education with specialty on the learning difficulties in Greece, I acquired my QTS in October of 2018. I am an experienced teacher, and my teaching background has been focused on KS3 and KS4 students who have been identified with a variety of learning difficulties. Prior to my relocation to the UK, I was teaching and preparing KS4 students for their GCSE and A-Levels to entry the university.
It is worth saying that I have transferred all those skills to the students I am currently teaching. The subject area I am teaching is English. However, I am also planning and delivering Vocabulary and metacognitive boosters, to students with low literacy skills, which have been covering the 4 core subjects of the curriculum, English, Maths, RS and Science.
Moreover, I am teaching English to KS3 and KS4 students in small groups in a tutorial basis, working in line with the English department.
