I was responsible for collecting and delivering prescriptions to customers in a timely and efficient manner. I was also responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, ensuring that I always provide courteous and effective customer service. In this role, I handled important medication, so it was crucial that I understood the importance of delivering high-quality service and maintaining professionalism at all times.

I was promoted to Driver in 2017. This consists of me driving as far as Birmingham, Greater Manchester, Anglesey and many more locations around the UK. At the start of each day, I ensure that the correct cages which contain the clean garments have been correctly loaded to the vehicle.

I then complete my routes accordingly, unloading the van and delivering the clean garments to clients. I also ensure that any dirty garments are loaded onto the van, to take back to the warehouse – I do all this with a positive attitude and a focus on both Health and Safety and positive customer satisfaction.

Laundry Operative - Johnson Service Group Plc - Wrexham

I started my career with Johnson's as a Laundry Operative and this consisted of working with a large team to ensure that all garments were washed, dried and allocated correctly. It required me to be a team player to ensure that my work wasn't slowing down any of my colleagues. It also required good levels of communication in order to ensure that all garments were washed and correctly organised in order to allow for deliveries to go smoothly.

I worked at First Milk for over 10 years. I started performing simple tasks in the packing area but evolved to work with skilled machinery that led to my role being valued. I am a loyal, enthusiastic worker who is flexible and always willing to learn and help new colleagues to settle in comfortably and help them in any queries possible.

Operative - ABP Meat Factory

My first job in the United Kingdom was in a meat factory. My job was very similar to my position at First Milk and it was here that I learned all the skills I have today, however over the years I have learned more and more to make me a valued member to any team.
