• Provide safe, effective and compassionate nursing care to adult patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
• Assess and monitor patients' vital signs, NEWS2 scores, oxygen requirements and overall clinical condition.
• Care for patients requiring Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV), monitoring their response to treatment and escalating concerns appropriately.
• Perform peripheral intravenous cannulation in accordance with local policies, procedures and competency requirements.
• Administer medications safely and monitor patients for therapeutic effectiveness and adverse reactions.
• Recognise signs of patient deterioration and escalate concerns promptly to medical and senior nursing staff.
• Work collaboratively with doctors, physiotherapists, respiratory specialists and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

• Provide safe and effective oxygen therapy in accordance with prescribed treatment plans and local guidance.
