Donna Green

I currently work within a school as SEN/ELSA TA. I have previous experience of 1.1 work of 5 years with nursery to key stage 2 children with ASD, ADHD, PDA along with other medical needs and disabilities. Previous to this I was support staff for Surrey Police for 23 years.

I am very passionate about assisting and understanding the needs of children and families who are in a system which is very difficult to navigate and understand. Supporting a child within their school setting is something that I really enjoy and find rewarding when I see a child's progression with the support they are entitled to.

I also am an ELSA, another rewarding role. Being able to assist and support a child who has emotional difficulties. Helping them with coping strategies and seeing the difference it can make to their everyday life in and out of school is another area that I believe makes a huge difference.
