Mehdi

Ahangari is an Iranian-born general surgery specialist with extensive clinical experience in trauma, emergency, and elective surgical procedures. He has completed a 4-year general surgery residency at Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences and worked as a general surgery specialist in Behshahr, northern Iran for approximately 10 years. He has performed over 6,000 surgeries and has expertise in open and laparoscopic procedures, vascular repair, trauma surgery, and surgical consultations across multiple departments.

He holds board certification in general surgery (2022) and has recently immigrated to the UK in May 2025, having passed the MRCS Part A exam at Royal College London.

• Fourth year (2014-2015): Completed gynecological surgery and neurosurgery rotations. Learned repair of bleeding ovarian cysts, cesarean sections, burr holes for traumatic brain hemorrhages, and vertebral fracture fixation. Independently performed many general surgery procedures without professor intervention. Successfully passed OSCE exam and graduated from specialty of general surgery.
