A highly motivated and internationally trained medical doctor with over six years of clinical experience across Pakistan, the Maldives, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. Fully licensed with the GMC, IMC, PMC, and MMDC, I currently work as a Clinical Fellow in the NHS, with a strong foundation in Emergency and Internal Medicine. I hold postgraduate qualifications including MRCPI and MRCP (UK) Parts 1 and 2 and have a strong commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Alongside clinical practice, I am actively involved in quality improvement, audit, and research, having led and contributed to QIPs focused on improving adherence to NICE guidelines in lower limb DVT assessment, optimising RESPECT form documentation, and enhancing cardiac rehabilitation through practical, lifestyle-based interventions. My academic interests are reflected in my role as a research team member in the multi-centre COMMIT RCT (motivational interviewing after stroke) and in multiple peer-reviewed case reports published in Pubmed/Cureus, including first and corresponding authorship on cases describing uncommon presentations of Guillain-Barré syndrome and eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis, as well as co-authorship on a report of ketamine-induced cholangiopathy. I have presented work internationally, including an award-winning poster at the Royal College of Physicians Conference in London and an oral presentation at an international healthcare congress in Paris.
I work effectively in high-pressure environments, communicate well with patients, and collaborate efficiently within multidisciplinary teams, with the long-term goal of progressing to Consultant Physician level and contributing to clinical excellence, innovation, and research.
