I have been a full-time employee of Lincat for 20 years which I believe demonstrates my loyalty and commitment to the Company. My aim is to do my best and to make a positive contribution every day. My attendance record is excellent and being in good health rarely have to take time off. In November 2001 I was involved in a car accident and sustained serious injuries which, requiring a long recovery period, meant I could not continue on this employment training programme.

Spares Department - Lincat Limited

(2002-01 - 2005-01)

I undertook a work placement in the Spares Department on a 'permitted work scheme', initially on a part-time basis to help with my recovery. This progressively became full-time as my recovery improved.

• Maintaining stock levels ensuring items were correctly located and identified.
• Collating, printing and preparing orders using the management software.
• Picking items for despatch from Spares stock and also from component stores, checking items for accuracy and quality.
• Packing items securely and processing the appropriate documentation and labelling.
• Inventory stock checks and record keeping.

Warehouse Operative - Finished Goods - Lincat Limited

(2005-01)

I was offered full-time employment with the Company. I continued in the Spares Department for a while and subsequently transferred to Finished Goods where I have worked since. I have had experience of all aspects of the operation of finished goods in all locations, Finished goods 1 & 2 and Teal Park.

• Clearing finished product from production, packing and location.
• Picking and loading for delivery transport, including forklift operation.
• Occasional delivery driving to all parts of the country, also transferring finished products to the Teal Park facility.
• Scanning items for stock location, delivery and accurate processing of documentation.
• Carrying out stock checks.
