I worked for Hoosier Tank in SouthBend for 3 years. We measured and manufactured steel air tanks from flat sheets of steel. I was in charge of pretty much everything from measuring and punching holes. To welding the spuds on punched holes, thread gagging weld and pressure testing operating girthand making sure the proper heads are fitted correctly on fresh air tanks. Quality checks also towards the end of the line.
