Dvij Patel

I am a Level 5 Computing student at Newham College of Further Education, where I am passionate about my studies and always eager to learn more. I have a solid foundation in programming languages such as C, C++, and Java. In addition to my academic pursuits, I work at Amazon, where I have received first aid training.

I am also an ambassador for my college and an active member of the student collective. Outside of my studies and work, I enjoy playing games and have a wide range of talents. Currently, I work at Royal Mail, and I have also completed a work placement at Transport for London (TfL) through Newham College.

I am a dedicated and ambitious Computing student at Newham College, currently pursuing a Level 5 Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computing, with a focus on networking, system security, and advanced computing. My practical experience spans multiple roles, including working with Amazon, Uber Eats, and Royal Mail, where I am also a trained First Aider. I have developed strong customer service skills, with hands-on experience in fast-paced environments, delivering packages, managing logistics, and maintaining high-quality standards.

I have also completed a work placement with Transport for London (TfL), gaining valuable insight into customer service and communication. In addition to my work experience, I am passionate about programming and have a solid understanding of languages such as C, C++, and Java, along with skills in app development and cybersecurity.

As a college ambassador and active member of the student collective, I am committed to continuous learning, teamwork, and contributing to my community.

I am currently pursuing a Level 5 Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computing at Newham College, which focuses on advanced computing, networking, and system security. Prior to this, I completed a Level 2 qualification in Cyber Security, earning a Distinction, where I studied cyber safety, ethical hacking, and digital forensics. Additionally, I completed a Level 1 qualification in App and Web Development, gaining foundational knowledge in programming, UI design, and app platforms.

My academic journey also includes the completion of a Higher Secondary Certificate from the Board of Open Schooling & Skill Education in India, and I have gained valuable work experience, including a placement with Transport for London (TfL), which helped further develop my technical and customer service skills.
