I have recently finished college, where I demonstrated my ability to work while under pressure and my ability to solve problems. Whilst I am currently awaiting my final grades from college, I feel this was demonstrated in the quality of the work I produced in my coursework, specifically within design and technology where grades achieved were within the 7-8 range, and in creative I-media with grades achieved commonly being distinction to distinction star which are equivalent to 8/9. I also showed my ability to work well as a team member during the multi cam production unit during my TV and film Btec coursework where I worked as the sound mixer in the gallery and had to make sure the microphones were set up and were working and change the audio levels so they were audible but not too loud.
The same course also taught me how to plan and organize productions with the actors and following the brief to coordinate and direct a short scene. I am a keen learner and hard worker, recently investing in learning Japanese through private tuition and I hope to travel to Japan or potentially live there one day. I really hope to find my first permanent employment to develop myself.
I love meeting new people and being able to apply myself to tasks at hand. I am able to follow instructions and always give maximum effort.
Work Experience at Everyone Active (2023-07-10 – 2023-07-14)
I completed my work experience at the Everyone Active leisure centre in Uttoxeter. I proactively approached the manager to discuss the possibility of the placement and was happy when they agreed for me to work with them for the week. I felt this helped provide me with real customer facing experience and working collaboratively with others.
