I am about to start at Manchester Met University and I am looking to start a part time job as a lifeguard in September. I have completed the LifeGuard Course and am First Aid qualified. I have been working as lifeguard for the past 16 months. I am a confident personable person who is a very fast learner.
Sixteen months lifeguarding responsibilities at Middleton Pool, which is a Places for People leisure facility. Places for People is one of the UK's largest and most influential social enterprises, focused on creating and sustaining thriving communities across the country.
Maintaining vigilance to ensure the safety of up to sixty swimmers within the pool and up to 100 people in the wider leisure facility, keeping in line with strict safe systems of work and responding to customer instructions with efficiency. Performing safe rescues to swimmers in the pool and delivering efficient first aid when needed, whilst proactively identifying solutions for problems posed to me by customers.
