With 17 years industry experience, ranging from Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to Global Head of Quality, I offer a proven track record of achievement. I have hands on experience within many processes including machining, forging, fabrication and welding, Within many fields including Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Nuclear, Marine, Medical, Space and most recently Construction.
Some examples of my work include:
- Development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management systems across multiple global sites for each operational sector in compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, IATF16949 and ISO13485 requirements; focused on managing quality across all lines of business.
- Development and management of site Health and Safety.
- Global management and development of Approved suppliers
- Management of customer quality requirements
- Leading Internal and external Audits including accreditation audits and supplier approval.
- Providing leadership for Lean Six Sigma operational excellence projects such as continuous improvement, waste reduction, and process capability.
- Writing documentation required for control of Quality and Health and safety process’s In addition to my experience and personal qualities, I have a solid educational foundation and a passion for Quality Assurance.
