As a Creative Designer, I have been creating impactful and engaging integrated campaigns across digital and print for over ten years. In my role at Oxfam, I have been the design lead on many high-profile national and international campaigns on current world issues and emergencies, such as the refugee crisis, the Yemen famine, and the Nepal earthquake along with key marketing moments such as Second Hand September and Dressed By The Kids Day.
With a BA in Design and an ongoing MSc in Performance Psychology, I have developed a multidisciplinary and holistic approach to design, combining creativity, psychology, and technology. I am passionate about using my skills and expertise to raise awareness, inspire action, and support positive change for humanitarian and social justice causes.
I have over a decade of experience creating impactful and engaging integrated campaigns across digital and print. At Oxfam, I've led design on many high-profile national and international campaigns. Some of these include campaigns on world issues and emergencies such as the refugee crisis, the Yemen famine, and the Nepal earthquake.
My work at Oxfam also includes fundraising, campaigning, events, retail and supporter communications. I've worked with Oxfam affiliates around the world on creative campaigns focused on current world issues.
In addition to my work at Oxfam, I've worked as a freelance designer and art director since 2007. From 2012 to 2014, I was a designer for the NSPCC, creating communications for the charity and their ChildLine service. Prior to that, I worked at Apple, teaching creative skills and the use of their software.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Design (Hons) from Goldsmiths College, University of London. I studied there from September 2003 to May 2007. I am also working towards a Master of Science in Performance Psychology at Bangor University. I started that programme in September 2021. In addition to my degrees, I also have a Membership Certificate for After Effects Advanced Techniques and have completed a course called Data-Driven Design: Quantitative Research for UX.
