I have owned my own roofing business since 2001. In April 2025 I was rushed into hospital and diagnosed with acute nectrotising pancreatitis – remaining in hospital for over 10 months. Unfortunately the illness and surgical procedures that I went through have left me not physically strong enough to return to roofing. I am therefore looking for a change of career – and as a hard worker all my life I believe I would be an asset to any company willing to give me a chance.
