• Follow all site Health and Safety policy and procedure, including PPE, chemical handling, equipment lock-of/tag-out, and safety systems of work. Report any hazards, incidents or injuries to the Manager
• Use machinery such as scrubber-dryers, vacuums, pressure washers and steam cleaners
• Carry out scheduled and ad-hoc cleaning of production lines, equipment, floors, walls and workplaces
• Perform deep cleaning during shutdowns or handovers using appropriate tools, chemicals and methods
• Ensure all cleaning tasks follow SOPs
• Use cleaning chemicals responsibly and in accordance with COSHH requirements
• Maintain hygiene standards to meet internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory requirements (BRCGS, ISO, HSE guidelines)
• Complete hygiene checklists and cleaning records accurately and on time
• Report hazards, defects, or pest activity promptly
• Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams during shift handovers and line changeovers
• Communicate issues that impact cleanliness, food/product safety, or equipment performance
• Support and contribute to business social and environmental responsibilities
