A versatile Highways Engineer with over 6 years’ experience covering the full range of activities from design, site investigation/surveys, inspection, analysis, implementation and supervision. Possess a passion for innovative engineering solutions within a challenging and competitive business environment. Currently working for the Department for Transport managing their Automated Traffic Count network. I am responsible for ensuring the ATC network delivers data with the completeness and quality that DfT requires, by working closely with the ATC network maintenance contractors and actively managing them to ensure they deliver an effective service.
My previous experience includes working for private consultancies such as AECOM and Kier as a highways engineer and producing detailed design for major schemes including the Clean Air Zone in Manchester and improvement works around Liverpool City Council. I have also produced design work for major roads whilst working on the National Highways Framework in many areas across the UK Including major resurfacing works and signing schemes.
I have a masters degree in Civil Enginerring from the University of Leeds and working towards chartered status.
