Eilidh Moir

I am a fellow pupil of Bishopbriggs Academy and is currently going into 6th year. I have sat my higher exams which were Maths:B, Psychology:A, Business Management:A, Art & Design: A, English: C. I am hoping to continue psychology into university when i leave school as i dream to become a forensic psychologist.

I aim to get into University of Edinburgh as i love the city and comes with great opportunity in the career i want to pursue. I very much enjoy charity work such as taking part in the kilt walk each year for our school charity, i also took part in our football charity school event which involved the s5 playing against the s6s. I am also going to Kenya with the school in october to help volunteer in deprived schools.

This is definitely an opportunity of a life time and will involve me helping teachers with lessons for the children and coaching with sports.

I currently volunteer at the British Heart Foundation which has involved me working on tills and handling with money. I have worked in a fast pace environment and strengthened many skills such as communication, customer service, time management, confidence and organisation. I have also worked in the stockrooms which has involved me steaming clothing and hanging them up so that it is ready to be displayed at the front of the shop floor.
