My main focus and interest were specifically in Counselling and Occupational psychology.

I have lived abroad for most of my adult life, so I understand the challenges related to life as an expatriate on a personal level.

This is a Counselling/Therapy Service as a Qualified Psychologist in the London area.

Areas covered are as follows: marriage & family counselling, well-woman screening (includes antenatal/postnatal counselling), eating disorders, weight management, career counselling, mentoring/coaching, adolescent testing, teenager advice and support, family assessments, general well-being, and friendly, flexible support. During my assessment, I am using standardised psychological questionnaires, and I have regular supervision.

For PHC Law Solicitors, I provide Initial Assessment and short CBT therapy as a Psychologist for the victims who were involved in a car accident and had some psychological damage as a result of difficult circumstances.

2010-2015 (Jul- Aug) Polish Psychologist Association in London, UK

I was supporting psychologists, through supervision, who work for the Polish Psychologists Association-Charity Organisation in the UK.

I provide education in one-to-one basic or group meetings and help psychologists and therapists with psychology knowledge, which they might come across during their psychological work.

I also actively work for the Career/Education Advice Office as a Mentor in the Polish Psychologist Association, where I provide coaching and education classes.

2008 (Mar-Nov 2010) MIND, UK

• Mentor for people with mental health problems.

In my Mind, I was working as a mentor for people with mental health problems. This is an employment program that offers support to clients on a one-to-one basis, as well as helping them get back to work and improve their mental health. I had a great opportunity to use and improve my CBT therapy techniques under supervision and work with chronic pain patients. I was also taking part in the confidence-building course.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

1998-2003 Master's Degree in Psychology, Cardinal S. Wyszynski University, Poland

 I studied for five years to obtain this qualification. The course involved both theoretical and practical learning. In the final year,

I did a project which compared self-consciousness between women and men. This was both very rewarding and enlightening.

• For five years, I studied haematology, microbiology and biochemistry.
