I am completing my MSc in Global Development Environment studies (University of Bristol) in September and am on track to receive a distinction. I graduated with my BSc in Politics and Environment Studies in 2023 with a 2.1 degree with honours at the University of Bath.
I have a year of experience as Assistant Heritage Manager at Powderham Castle (2021-2022) and over five years of experience in varying customer service positions, including bar manager.
I was a key team member of the research project “Nut tree cultivation for England's multi-functional land use strategy” on behalf of The Royal Society, which expanded my skills in presenting, editing, writing academically and researching/producing policy recommendations in the context of the environment/sustainability.
As a product of my academic and business career, I am particularly passionate about the intersection of heritage sites and the environment and have therefore tailored my MSc dissertation to reflect that. It is titled “Heritage Land Management: Can a Multifunctional Landscape Approach Bring Balance to Heritage Sites such as the English Lake District?" and engages with several stakeholders, from farmers to landowners to academics.
I am currently searching for a job in heritage or environment, but preferably both!
