Eli Wilson

I have 3 years of experience working in childcare environment babysitting and i currently do voluntary work for an Online Community as a Community Manager which i have been volunteering for 2 years. These experiences have helped me gain many skills such as communication, team work, listening and following instructions, leadership, planning and organising.

I have 3 years working in a childcare environment which gave me experience in cleaning, preparing meals, providing a safe environment and planning various activities. I currently am doing voluntary work in XGN as an Online Community Manager which i have been volunteering for 2 years, my role as a Community Manager gives me experience in brainstorming ideas to benefit the community, providing fun, entertaining events for our members, hosting meetings regularly to keep communication up within the community and providing a happy, inclusive environment for all members of the community.

While studying Childcare at Forth Valley College i participated in many different courses such as Exploring Wellbeing, Improving Wellbeing, Health And Food Technology: Food For Health, Personal Development: Self In Community, Communication, Information and Communication: Technology and Numeracy. Having these qualifications will benefit me in working in this kind of work environment as i will be able to communicate well with coworkers and customers, work as a team and understanding the importance of wellbeing and keeping a safe environment.
