Rail Case Handler at Rolls-Royce Solutions UK LTD. (Present)

I have proudly worked in two departments at Rolls-Royce and am currently employed under the title of Rail Case Handler, working amongst the fast-paced rail team with customers such as Hitachi Rail. Here, I have grown in confidence and explored many different skills in Administration work and communications. I have demonstrated this daily through conversing and liaising with other business departments and performing tasks such as processing tickets and cost allocation from both VCA and direct billing.

I take on these tasks efficiently, always prioritizing requests adequately and working well under pressure. I am competent and confident using the company's systems - CEC, TOGA, HANA, and a range of Microsoft applications including Excel and Teams. This is integral to the functioning of day-to-day activities of the business department, along with high attention to detail when executing every task.

Working here has taught me to not only be a proactive but a reactive individual, due to urgencies everchanging, which I manage and execute to the highest of my ability. I believe myself to be a flexible and reliable team player. I am always willing to help and eager to learn new things to better and expand my skillset.

An example being my conscientiousness to volunteer with the administration stages of the QL4 overhaul process, as I aim to have well-rounded knowledge of all aspects of the role.

Dance Teacher at The ace academy school of irish dance

My experience in coaching and administration work in an Irish Dancing Business is vast and has enabled my development in organization and planning. Here I have also demonstrated leadership, including teaching large groups. My ability to produce quality work under pressure and time constraints is something I pride myself in – my choreography placing 2nd at the United National Championships.

This alongside of my taking part at the 'Nationals', being an Irish Dancer myself, also exhibits my multitasking and coordination abilities. This place of work has allowed my professionalism to grow, which I take very seriously, especially when interacting and conversing with customers and people of authority. This is imperative for the ideology and reputation of any business.

I have extended experience of over two years with hospitality while working at Claverton Country House Hotel which I have gained many skills from such as administration duties, waitressing, organizational skills, and working in professional environments such as business conferences as well as other affairs such as weddings. Whilst at Claverton, I completed multiple qualifications – HSQE and food intolerance courses. I am confident my experience gained at Claverton has further shaped me to be more well-rounded.

I proved to be a willing individual, ready to contribute to any aspect of the business, demonstrating my flexibility and keen attitude.
