Junior Stylist at Ideal Home Magazine, Future Publishing (2007-01 – 2009-12)

• Writing + Styling Monthly Features: Worked closely with senior stylists and editorial teams to create and style monthly features for the magazine, including home decor, furniture and lifestyle trends.
• Real Homes on Location: Travelling across the UK styling whole house shoots and kitchen and bathroom makeovers for the 'Real Homes' section of the magazine, as well as writing inspiring accompanying copy and compiling "Get the Look' shopping pages.
• Props Management: Organised and maintained the magazine's prop cupboard ensuring items coming in on loan from PR companies were stored efficiently and ready for use in upcoming shoots. Subsequently arranging the return of products via couriers when no longer required.
• Press Events + Product Launches: Attending these events to stay informed of the latest trends, source new products for styling and building valuable relationships with PR agencies and brands.
• Research + Trend Monitoring: Conducted research on the latest Interior trends, sourcing ideas and inspiration for upcoming features.

Interior Design Assistant at Max Rollitt Antiques + Interior Design (2006-01 – 2007-12)

• Material Sourcing + Procurement: Assisted with sourcing and procuring materials, fabrics, furniture and accessories for projects, maintaining relationships with suppliers and ensuring delivery schedules were adhered to. Regular visits to London with Mr Rollitt developed my product, art and antiques knowledge.
• Studio Organisation: Managed inventory of fabric samples and materials, ensuring all design assets were orderly and accessible.
• Site visits + Coordination: Attended site visits with Mr Rollitt to assist with site surveys, project coordination, installation oversight, management of contractors and client liaison.
• Showroom Maintenance: Helped to style and maintain the in-house selection of Antiques and bespoke furniture range designed by Mr Rollitt. Also worked on photographing items and uploading images to the website.
