About

I am a newly qualified Dental hygienist and therapist currently awaiting GDC registration with experience providing preventative, oral health education, periodontal treatments, restorative dental care, taking intra-oral radiographs on both adults and paediatric patients. I was trained at clinical environment attending to patient needs throughout my education. I am also knowledgeable in identifying oral health issues such as tooth decay and oral cancer in early stages, communication findings to dentists for further evaluation, diagnosis and treatment.

I am highly professional, reliable, and flexible, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. I am looking for a suitable and supportive environment to enable me to utilise my skills.

I worked here as an agency dental nurse where I attended different practices to assist different dental professionals to provide care and chair-side support to patients whiles studying at the University of Plymouth.

Dental nurse - My-dentist

My purpose here was to assist dentists and other members of the dental team in preparing the surgery for dental treatments. I disinfect instruments, maintain dental operating equipment, and keep patient records, including taking notes while the dentist examines a patient. Working closely with the dentist, responding quickly to requests, and generally keeping the surgery ready for use while ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are in place.
