I am inbetween jobs at present and I have a healthy interest in Lecturing again in Animal Welfare and Management and/or Science.
I can teach and assess a wide range of subjects, from animal science, health, biology and behaviour. From Entry level up to Degree.
I have 19 years experience of being a Course Tutor and Manager to second year National Diploma Animal Management and Science.
During this time I have co-ordinated learning material and assessments between staff and organised and implemented additional learning qualifications into schemes of work and assessment planning, such as ABC CENTRA, wider key skills, functional and core key skills. For these exercises I have run workshops and also tutorial programs for interview preparation; such as writing personal statements and CV's .
I have also implemented other exercises such as problem solving and team building. I have also been involved in organising , planning and running schools extra curricular activities, such as Farm to Zoos and First Aid courses.
I have been a fully qualified Animal Behaviourist since 2010 and a student member of the APBC and ASAB. The publications and seminars from these professional bodies supported my teaching role, by keeping me up to date with recent developments in Science and Behaviour.
