I am 21 years old and I am currently working in a nursery. I have got my level 2 - NCFE CACHE L2 certificate Introducing Caring For Children and Young people qualification. My experience working in a nursery has given me social skills and the skills to be patient, a team player, a quick learner, to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, where every day is different.
I ensure I am always working the hardest I can and I put my all into everything I do. I am caring, friendly, kind, sociable and hardworking and I like this to be reflected in my working environment. I have always wanted to make a different to people's lives which is why I have worked in nurseries!
In my previous nursery I worked in, once a week we used to take a group of children to a local care home to talk to residents and do activities with them such as games and drawing. This was lovely for the children but it was also really lovely for the residents and myself! I loved going to speak to all the residents there and join in with the activities.
As I have worked in a nursery for quite a while, I am looking to do something different and to gain more life experience in a new job setting. I have my own small business which I started in December 2026, which is arts and crafts and homeware. By starting my own small business I have learnt that it takes time, patience, resilience and a lot of hard work, but when I'm passionate about something I won't stop until I'm where I want to be, which is exactly the same energy I want to put into a new work environment.
I am enhanced DBS checked which is on the update service. I am paediatric/first aid trained, along with other safeguarding training.
