I am fascinated by all aspects of the fashion industry, however I have developed a particularly keen interest in fashion marketing through my studies at the Fashion Retail
Academy and hope to build a career in this field.
During my time at the Post Office, I handlea high volumes of cash, vouchers, checks, and sensitive information with a focus on security and confidentiality. I developed a strong understanding of the services and products offered, enabling me to effectively address customer concerns and drive sales. This experience significantly enhanced my ability to deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently.
At LK Bennett, I thrived in a fashion-oriented environment, contributing to increased sales through attentive salesmanship and exemplary customer service, which built strong brand loyalty. I actively promoted and upheld LK Bennett's standards while assuming key responsibilities such as opening, closing, and keyholder duties, ensuring seamless store operations. Additionally, my experience at Primark further strengthened my retail skills and reinforced my commitment to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced retail setting.
During my work experience at Marks & Spencers I actively engaged in marketing department meetings, contributing to strategic discussions and collaborating on diverse projects. A pivotal responsibility included researching competitors for their SS23 launches and delivering thorough insights and inventive marketing concepts to the customer marketing team. These experiences enriched my understanding of a sophisticated marketing department's operations and expanded my knowledge of effective strategies within the industry.
Studying fashion for 2 years at the Fashion Retail Academy was a dream come true. I explored various aspects of the Fashion industry allowing me to have an extensive knowledge of the industry. The course included Marketing, Buying, Visual merchandising and Communications. The course was based in London which significantly boosted my confidence and encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone! A notable achievement during my time there is presenting my work to Bicester Village.
