Help answer questions customers may have about the park and animals
Managing animal walk throughs ensuring animals and customers safety
Serving and selling food such as nectar for rainbow lorikeets so customers may feed them
Help run the discovery centre educating children on the harm and damage of things such as trophy hunting by showing and explaining artifacts and items smuggled through customs

Cleaning out animals such as bunnies, goats, donkeys, pigs and ducks
Preparing their food and replacing their water

Checking turtle hatchery each morning to monitor if eggs had hatched
Patrolling beaches in local areas each night to monitor local turtles populations ensuring that there is no disturbances or threats
Guarding hatchery nest at night and early hours of the morning to ensure nests are not harmed or tampered with
Cleaning hatchery and tanks so remain sterile

Dolphin and Whale Conservation Volunteer - Gvi - Tenerife

Duration: 2 weeks

Help identify and collect behavioural data on cetaceans and other marine creatures
Daily litter picking around the local community
Taking part in daily land and boat surveys
Basic chores around the communal hostel such as cooking, washing up and cleaning
