Elliot Rough

I am a full time student at the University of Durham going into my second year as an Undergraduate studying Geography. I am interested in pursuing a career in ESG, engaging in topical debates and discussions surrounding the sustainable practices of companies. I believe there is a no more relevant topic currently than ESG and would relish the opportunity to further my interest and develop my knowledge of such an area.

Most recently, I undertook a work experience program at a company called MM Flowers. During this time, I shadowed the ESG director and engaged in topical debates surrounding the environmental and social sustainability of the company as well as its relationships with the Colombian and Kenyan branches of the company. This experience afforded me the opportunity to engage in meetings with clients such as Waitrose and Marks and Spencer and gave me an indication of how innovation is constantly at the centre of sustainability.

I am currently a full time student at the university of Durham, going into my second year of an undergraduate course of Geography.
