Having primary responsibility for trading a regional feed wheat book within the grains team I have a helped to drive profitability of the desk using my regional strategy and looking for trading opportunities in the domestic UK feed wheat market. To drive this profitability, I have used regional spreads to assess value alongside taking views on derivates and physical markets to ensure best execution of the southern trading book. I want to seek out new opportunities to develop my commodity trading skills with a new firm and product, and with the current knowledge I have means I am able to be an asset to the company from day one.
