Pub Staff/Waitress - The Station Pilot

In charge of providing excellent customer service to hundreds of guests a day in a fast pace and challenging environment.

• Ensuring the team worked well together and communication was affective between all areas, the waiting staff, bar staff and chefs.
• I resolved any problems and complaints that customers bought to my attention which resulted in making the customers' experience even better and them wanting to return in the future.
• I gained valuable knowledge in areas like health and safety, food safety and menu knowledge, and training new employees.

Supervisor - Greggs

I started out as a regular team member and swiftly got promoted to a supervisor role. In this role I was again in charge of ensuring the customers had nothing short of a satisfactory experience when they visited our shop. I ensured the shop was running smoothly by following the rules while putting the happiness of our customers first.

• I oversaw opening and closing the shop, I was in charge of ordering and managing the stock for the store, handling the daily banking and managing any audits we had.
• Here I also personally prepared fresh food and gained valuable knowledge in food handling, food hygiene, and general equipment safety.
• I trained many new staff members who joined the team and helped them transition smoothly into the team and helped reach their full potential in the role quickly.
• Again, a very fast pace, high volume environment serving hundreds of customers daily while providing fast, high quality yet friendly service.

Team Leader - The Co-Op

(2025-12)

• As a team leader in the co-op I am tasked with overseeing the daily operations of 2 stores to ensure the company policies are followed and the shops are running smoothly.
• I report the state of the shop and record equipment temperate daily. I do general maintenance on all our equipment and promptly report any issues we may have.
• In this role I have by far the biggest customer base and am faced with new challenges every day, from customer concerns to imposing new, more effective ways of running the store and approaching them with a positive attitude and open mind.
• As a co-op colleague I work with a diverse group of people and in my role, I must ensure that the team is working effectively together while also being happy and excited to work.
• Problem solving is a huge part of the role. Identifying challenges by analyzing situations and creating effective solutions before they become a greater issue.
