I am Elyse and I am currently a second year Biomedical Engineering student at Imperial College London. I have always been passionate about helping people through different channels, as shown in my experience in joining various volunteering events in Hong Kong (e.g. distributing bread to homeless people). I am also a co-founder of a mobile application start-up that is in development which promotes the general welfare of ADHD children, inspired by one of my family members.
Moreover, I have had multiple leadership experiences which includes being an editor in chief for an inter-school science magazine and being president of the Engineering society, in which I practice my interpersonal collaboration skills to ensure smooth running of events and release of articles.
My experience as a co-founder of a mobile application start-up — ADHDreamer — has geared me up as a self-motivated worker, as well as trained my presentation skills while joining numerous pitching competitions. I have also interned at a Healthtech company — Cornerstone Robotics Limited — forr a month, where I worked in a team that develops a surgical machine.
I am currently a second year university student studying at Imperial College London.
