Emile Pelier

I am recent graduate with a 2:1 in a BSc, Economics with Geography at the University of Exeter. I am currently looking for an opportunity for a graduate opportunity in Debt Markets starting in August 2023. I am a dual national French and British citizen, fluent in both French and English as well as intermediate level in Spanish. I have spent 9 years living in Asia where I have lived in Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines.

My latest work experience in 2022, I interned at the Thinking Ahead Institute under WTW. I worked in a consultancy team for over 50 asset owners and managers for societal related issued derived from investments. Creating and collating content to finding solutions for clients on how to use investments to overcome societal problems.

I conducted analysis for a report on the top 20 best performing asset owners and managers over the past 20 years. This involved looking at current data and rankings but also the underlying causes for their success. I finished the internship by publishing a paper on the client website regarding sustainability within emerging markets, specifically Asia.

I completed 10 IGCSEs, the IB with a score of 38 (HL: Economics, Geography, English SL: Mathematics, Biology, Ab initio Spanish) and a 2:1 in BSc with Hons in Economics with Geography.
