Emily Batty

I am passionate about working with children that have special educational needs, which is why I have worked in a special educational needs school for over two years now.

My nature is calm, attentive and patient and I enjoy supporting children to learn and grow. I work diligently and well as part of a team.

I have frequently worked in support work roles, including elderly care support work, being a teaching assistant in schools, and supporting deaf women to live independently in their home.

I enjoy volunteering and I have volunteered with the girl guides and also helped to deliver afterschool clubs. Previously, I have achieved my 6 month training to become an assistant to youth support work.

I currently work in St Martin's Special Educational Needs School in Gibraltar, and I will be relocating to Worksop, England, to be near to family. Therefore, I am looking to continue my teaching assistant role at a school in the area.

I have a degree in English Literature and Media, for which I achieved a 2.1 BA Joint Hons.
