My current role is an Activity Coordinator at United World School of English. My role is to create a vibrant and engaging learning environment for students from diverse cultural backgrounds. I organize and oversee a wide range of extracurricular activities that complement the language learning experience and promote cultural exchange.
I also foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging language practice and promoting intercultural understanding through group activities and discussion. Ultimately, my goal is to enhance students’ overall experience, helping them improve their language skills while creating lasting memories.
In my previous role as a Project Coordinator for a mindset programme for young people, I have experienced facilitating mindset sessions and supporting young people with their growth. This position involved visiting three different schools on a fortnight basis to facilitate mindset sessions. These sessions would involve small group of students, where we would discuss their current thoughts around mindset and their ideas on how to improve this.
We also worked through the programme by creating fun activities to help them better understand the content and to keep them engaged.
Previous to this, I also have experience working as a Camp Counsellor in Camp America. this involved looking after a group of children within the morning, evening and throughout the night as well as lifeguarding/teaching swimming lessons throughout the day. The age group of these children ranged from 3 to 15 years old.

I am currently studying my degree flexible around my work. Therefore, I study this part-time and only take modules when I know I can fit it around my job. Alongside this, I am also studying the TEFL qualification online. This will be completed by 1st September 2023.
