I work as Freedom to Speak Up Guardian of the Hospital. I create speak up, listen up and follow up culture. I meditate for a positive impact to the organization. Every voice has value because it serves as a lesson for improvement.

I listen to each member of staff preserving confidentiality. I make sure that each concern has a result according to anyone's expectation. I don't stop encouraging everyone to speak up anything that gets in the way for the improvement of the standard of patient's care as well as the employee's well being.

Theatre Practitioner - Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital - Winchester Road, Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh, SO53 2DW

I work as theatre practitioner. Nuffield has 4 theatres. The specialties are mainly, orthopaedics, general and ENT. I have more experience in Orthopedics but I am aware they will rotate us in time so we can have chance to learn the skills on other specialties and I don't mind that. We work with different disciplinary teams. Prepare theatres from the instruments and make team is complete to prepare for thelist. Patient's safety is the paramount in every single performance we do.

Nurse - Victoria House Infusion Unit Southampton General Hospital UHS Foundation Trust - Southampton

We administer biologic infusion to the patients with autoimmune disorders such as IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Diseases) like Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis, Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, Asthma and Rheumatoid Arthritis. We deal with patients too with low iron and low hemoglobin that need Iron infusion or blood transfusion. We are trained to reconstitute infusion following respective drug pathways by thoroughly checking bloods results before administration.

I have been trained and competent enough to vaccinate, reconstitute Pfizer and assess since Covid vaccines started this year. I have been vaccinating and assessing for AstraZeneca too. I often book shifts to the vaccination hub. I am on board for vaccination supervisor training.

I worked as an orthopedic scrub nurse. There are 7 orthopedic theaters in the hospital. We perform elective and trauma cases for both adults and pediatrics. We specialize in spinal, joint replacement, fixations and any orthopedic trauma.

We work with the disciplinary team. The whole team involved with the patients care for safety. We adhere to theater guidelines by starting the list with a team brief, checking the time out and sign out on each patient every case.

We prepare the all the sets and implants needed for each operation. Make sure the sterility and availability of all possible instruments needed. We make sure patient's safe is paramount as well as staff's.

Orthopedic Theatre Scrub Nurse - James Cook University Hospital South Tees NHS Trust - Middleborough

I worked here as an orthopedic theater scrub nurse. There are 29 theaters and we cover 4 orthopedic theaters. We do spines, trauma and elective orthopedic lists. We are rotated to all theaters so we are skilled with various orthopedic operations such as joint arthroplasty and revisions.

We scrub and set up for spinal fusions, Ex fix on limbs and pelvis. ORIF in any fractures such as PFNA, DHS, Femoral, Tibial Nailing, Fibula Nailing, Hemiarthroplasty. In a trauma meeting we attend to discuss with the whole team such as the anesthetist, ortho registrars/SHO, about the trauma cases, about the plan and equipment required.

I make sure I organize the briefing before sending the patient and cascade the message if any changes or amendments are done. I work or scrub with different consultants. I make sure sure that all equipments are ready and sterile before putting patients to sleep.

We always maintain sterile equipment and areas. Charnley tent should be turned on first thing in the morning before setting up. Make sure all the equipment's ready. Inform the team of any issues. Cooperate with the disciplinary team.

Scrub Nurse - Northumbria NHS Trust Alnwick Infirmary - United Kingdom

Alnwick is a small community hospital. I worked there as a scrub nurse. We covered the day Unit, Endoscopy, Recovery and theater. So we are being rotated to do different areas. We performed minor cases only in theaters like arthroscopy knee, shoulder, K wiring of wrist, carpal tunnel, ENT, general like appendectomy and vasectomy, gyne at times. We make sure to set up the theaters and prepare the list according to the surgeon's preference.

Biggest and beautiful perform with excellence in a mental hospital in Singapore. A 3000 bedded capacity hospital. In the first 2 years I worked there as HCA then I was promoted to assistant nurse so I took a board exam in Singapore for this new position I passed.

My duty was to assist the staff nurses in giving medications to patients. Organize activities for mental development and recreational activities of the patients. Took vital signs of the patients. Performed and abided by the strict policies of mental hospitals for the patients.

Accompany patients in going to medical hospitals for further investigations of their conditions. Prepared patient's food and rendering activities to motivate themselves to get involved.

Nurse - Veterans Memorial Medical Centre - Quezon City Manila, Philippines

It's a 1000 bedded capacity hospital mainly for veterans or any relatives of veterans. I was assigned to a medical ward but being deployed too at times in different wards. I looked after patients with different medical conditions.

I did rounds with different consultants in the ward every morning. Took orders and give medication for the patients. I gave injections. I inserted cannula for the patient's continuous IV medications. Took vital signs routinely and referred patients in any circumstances in emergency situations.

Volunteer Nurse - Saint James Hospital - Bangued Abra, Philippines

I work here for a year, as a volunteer with a small salary for experience as a Nurse. A 50 bed capacity private provincial hospital. Busy accepting minor operations like skin cuts due to fall in any age.

Provide medications and do rounds with doctors. Inserted IV cannula to patients and closed skin cuts with sutures. We took blood for further investigations of the patient's condition. We routinely take vital signs to admitted patients.

I looked after patients with medical problems like pneumonia, asthma, hypertension and diabetes.
