Confident in wrangling, cleaning, validating, and analysing data to uncover actionable insights. Comfortable creating reports and dashboards that make complex information clear and usable.
Hands-on with SQL, Python (pandas, scripting with GUI validation), Excel (advanced use of Power Query, formulas, macros), and app building with MIT App Inventor. Familiar with Inriver, pyramid, and other MDM tools.
Strong focus on improving processes — from automating manual reporting tasks to designing full-scale barcode tracking systems. Always aim to build tools that are intuitive, efficient, and adopted by users.
Experienced with analytical equipment (Karl Fischer, NIR, mass spectrometry, qPCR) and translating lab outputs into structured, reportable data. Able to spot inefficiencies and develop practical solutions.
Building confidence in leading workshops and presenting systems to diverse teams and non-technical users. Comfortable working cross-functionally and in client-facing environments.
Knowledge of data privacy and handling standards (UK GDPR, Human Tissue Act), lab compliance, and SOP-driven environments (ISO 15189/17025). Passionate about building traceable, transparent systems.
