Emily Howard

I am an extremely passionate Zoology graduate with an aim to pursue a career in animal care and the conservation sector. I am a very dedicated, committed and hard-working person, with extensive experience in domestic animal care. My passion allows me to be very flexible and I am willing to work as and when required.

I can digest complex instructions and work well both individually and as the member of a strong team. I thrive in high energy environments and am seeking a challenging position which allows me to take advantage of my previous experience and offers the opportunity for personal and professional growth.

• I have extensive experience working with rescued dogs and cats and tailoring my car to each of their specific needs and histories
• I have worked in a UK based cat sanctuary, a UK based dog kennel and a Thai dog and cat sanctuary
• Over 3 years worth of experience in animal husbandry
• Able to administer medications to both cats and dogs
• Tailor diets to each animals needs
• Work alongside vets to provide the best possible care for animals
• Control large groups of animals in a safe way
• Work well as a member of both a large and small team and able to take initiative 

• 2:1 BSc Zoology with Hons from Exeter University
• Additional courses in bat surveying with knowledge of BatScan and Analook
