Emily Monaghan

I am an experienced Estate Planning professional with a strong legal background, having completed an LLB (Hons) and a Postgraduate Professional Certificate in Legal Practice. My studies provided a solid foundation in legal principles, client care and the importance of precision in advisory work.

In my role as an Estate Planner, I support clients from start to finish throughout the estate planning process. This includes taking detailed instructions, providing clear guidance, drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney, and ensuring documentation accurately reflects each client’s wishes. I understand that these conversations can be sensitive, so I approach every client with empathy, professionalism and discretion.

I am currently completing the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) remotely through the London Institute of Banking and Finance, further strengthening my understanding of legal property and financial matters.

Outside of work, I very much enjoy baking, particularly sweet treats. Baking provides a creative balance and reflects qualities I value professionally; patience, attention to detail and careful preparation.

I have developed strong client relationship management skills, working closely with individuals and families to understand their circumstances and long-term objectives. My experience includes handling sensitive matters with professionalism, managing documentation efficiently, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements. I am confident working both independently and as part of a wider team, maintaining high standards of accuracy and organisation in a fast-paced environment.

I recently completed a Postgraduate Professional Certificate in Legal Practice, further developing my practical legal knowledge and professional skills. I am currently studying towards the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) with the London Institute of Banking and Finance, expanding my understanding of mortgage regulation, property finance and financial services.
