Emily O'Connor

I am a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual currently seeking employment after recently completing my GCSEs. I am flexible with working hours and open to part-time, temporary, or permanent opportunities. I am one of 7 siblings, being the eldest.

This has demanded that I am able to mediate well, stay calm and use my organisational skills to help everyone around me. Starting in September, I will be studying for a BTEC in Travel and Tourism Level 3. I remain available to work part-time alongside my studies and am eager to take on a role that is both rewarding and challenging.

I am keen to apply my existing skills and experience while continuing to grow and develop both personally and professionally. I have a personable, positive, and conscientious nature, with the ability to adapt to a variety of situations. I possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a professional, approachable manner.

My people skills enable me to engage well with others and contribute effectively to a team. I am confident, highly organised, and capable of working well under pressure. I have a proven ability to exceed targets, make sound decisions independently when needed, and adapt quickly to new tasks and environments.

I also take pride in my excellent timekeeping and reliability. Above all, I am eager to find a role that allows me to continue developing new skills and growing as an individual. I bring a calm, patient, and committed approach to work, with a focus on achieving positive and proficient outcomes in everything I do.

Play Worker & Cleaner - Blank Canvas - Wheatley, Doncaster

• Supported children in soft play activities
• Prepare food for children under 6 years of age. Working in line with food hygiene standards.
• Organised and supported the running of small children's parties, including entertaining, reading books, dress up and interactive play to stimulate child development and learning.
• As part of my Play worker role at Blank Canvas, I also supported with cleaning duties within the play centre.
• The setting created different events bespoke to the clients needs, varying from ball pit parties, fancy dress, themed disney events, mascots from local clubs and seasonal themed events and parties for children.

Babysitter - Mobile Babysitting service - Doncaster

(2024-10)

• Supported the manager of Blank Canvas with personal baby sitting service
• Supported local families, my hairdresser and neighbours with a personal baby sitting service.
• This role included being available at short notice, working evenings and weekends. Supporting with bed time routine, feeding, reading and keeping clear communication with parents. Being highly reliable and dependable is a key attribute in this role.
