I have been a volunteer at Myplace Youth Facility for several years and my duties include supporting staff with after School clubs and the mixed ability youth club. I assist with the tuck shop, fill up the vending machine and take payment for refreshments. I take the registers and collate monthly attendance for youth clubs sessions.
I also carry out stock taking duties for the kitchen assistant. I enjoy socialising and spending time with my family. I like to travel abroad and have visited Spain, America, Mexico, Greece and Holland.
My aim is to travel to Tokyo and Thailand in the near future.
I am a hardworking person who has experience of working in a variety of settings such as Business Administration, Customer Service, Food Preparation,Care work and Teaching Assistant roles. I have excellent customer service skills and can speak to people confidently over the phone, in person and video calls such as Teams and Zoom. I am committed to my own professional development and have recently completed training in Digital Skills, Team Leading, Food Hygiene Maths, English and Safeguarding and Prevent.
I have experience working in a fast-paced environments from my time working for the local authority where I was based in the Special Educational Needs team carrying out an administrative role. I am flexible in my approach to work and can work short notice if required and have previously worked a variety of shift patterns.
