I’m a recent Chemistry graduate looking for work in a fast paced and exciting lab environment where I can continue to learn more about the subject whilst applying my existing knowledge to real life challenges. Having graduated in 2025, I have worked in hospitality for the year to allow myself time to decide what I really want to use my degree for, I know now that one aspect I miss the most about my studies is the lab environment and I’m really keen to get back to that as soon as possible. I really enjoy the practical aspects of chemistry, being able to find a role where this is the focus and use all the theory I have learnt over the years sounds like the perfect job for me.
From my previous lab experience and years of hospitality have excellent communication and know how to make myself useful in a variety of environments.
Adams Research Group (Glasgow, 2024/25)
Conductive an extensive research project focusing on peptide hydrogels. Synthesised compounds, thoroughly analysed and wrote up a report. All aspects of my research received first class honours.

Team member in a heritage music venue and restaurant in Manchester, working full time in a fast paced environment focusing on creating positive, memorable and welcoming experiences for customers.
Bookkeeper at bookkeeping project (2019-09 – 2025-09)
Maintained and updated data over the span of a building project, kept reliable and accurate records, used excel for all data handling and resulted in a successful tax claim.
