A recent graduate of English and Related Literature with a high 2:1 BA at the University of York currently working as a Graduate Trainer at Four Communications. I possess highly refined written and verbal communication in a highly independent, research-based subject requiring discipline, flexibility, organisation, and creativity. Intuitive, imaginative, and driven to succeed, I bring a tenacity and a willingness to challenge myself.
I am someone with a deep passion for fashion and beauty, lifestyle and culture having worked as an editorial fashion intern across two digital platforms as well as the Culture Deputy Editor for the in-house fashion magazine at university. I have the confidence and experience to mix with diverse groups of people and form unique relationships within a team and am keen to kickstart my career in the fashion marketing industry.
As a Graduate Trainee at Four Communications, I am part of multiple small teams, I collaborate internally and externally in the management of 4 global pharmaceutical companies’ media campaigns. I partner with individual brands across international markets to create, plan and buy bespoke media in response to brief working closely with both client and publisher to meet agreed campaign objectives. I am trained in analysing qualitative data at quantitative scale using Four Communication’s proprietary insight framework, Mapper360 and strategic models and experienced in gleaning insights and trends using WARC and Mintel; I am passionate about trends.
Whilst I am enjoying the pace and the strategic elements of this role I am truly passionate about fashion, brands and lifestyle trends. Whilst at university I interned at both Purveyour and The Positive Co. as a researcher and writer of feature stories showcasing luxury brands and designers, set space and creating a distinct brand voice. I onboarded stores and brands to the magazines’ platforms, showcasing and developing familiarity with luxury brands’ products and unique selling qualities.
Achieved a High 2:1 with honors at the University of York in English and Related Literature. At university I was Editor of the literary magazine The Stray moderating others’ articles and heading the overall magazine’s unique voice. As well as this I was Elected Culture Deputy curating and overseeing the cultural content of the University’s fashion magazine, HARD.
