Practical conservation intern

I left a job in an office to pursue a new career in conservation and habitat management. I have spent 6 months as an unpaid intern for the RSPB, learning about infrastructure maintenance, conservation techniques, handling low maintenance conservation grazing livestock, monitoring biodiversity, surveying habitat for potential beaver suitability, and much more! I'm an energetic, people oriented person, who has a clear track record of working well both on my own and as a team.
I have so much enthusiasm for a new career, and really want the chance to learn a lot more in the field (though a salary would be nice). I have volunteered in various capacities for different organisations over the years - monitoring sea birds and moths and bats with the Scottish Wildlife Trust on the Isle of Eigg, creating and maintaining paths with the Shropshire Council wild teams, and planting trees in the Scottish Borders. I have my CS30 and CS31 in chainsaw skills, first aid at work and my brushcutter certificate.
I look forward to a new direction, as I love fungi, wildflowers and wildlife, and being outside.
I wrote this out painstakingly and it got deleted so will rewrite this later
